SKILLS AND DRILLS CLINIC

MYA Softball is hosting a Skills and Drills Clinic for ALL softball players. This event is open to anyone from any park, school or surrounding areas that would like to learn the basics or even sharpen up their softball skills.

WHEN: March 10, 2018

WHERE: Alexander Park

TIME: 10:00AM - 2:00PM (sign in 9:30am)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Techniques on catching a thrown ball, executing an overhand throw, fielding ground
balls and fly balls, basic pitching (depending on the need ages 10U and up), hitting and base running technique.

We will give event t-shirts to pre-registered participants with receipt.

About MYA
McDonough Youth Association Softball offers a supervised recreational and select softball program for kids ages 4 through High School. All games are played according to the rules and policies set forth by USSSA with a few additional ground rules set forth by Henry County Parks and Recreation Department.

Alexander Park is located on Highway 42 just north of the McDonough Square.
 
Security
Please lock all valuables and store these out of sight. Do not make your vehicle an easy target for quick acting criminals. Let's all be aware of our surroundings and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
 
Rainout Plan
In case a game is canceled due to inclement weather the Director of MYA Softball will notify each MYA Softball coach and the associating park directors of any changes. At this time your coach will contact each participant to inform of any game cancellations or changes.WATCH YOUR E MAILS.
